Lucio Dalla lives again in Soccavo: Pierdavide Carone inaugurates "Soundtrack Napoli: The 20th Century in Music"

A concert to remember Lucio Dalla and inaugurate a new musical season in Soccavo. On Tuesday, September 2nd , at 9:00 PM, the Parish Theatre of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Via Filippo Bottazzi 29) will host the first event in the series "Soundtrack Naples: 20th-Century Music," featuring Pierdavide Carone accompanied by the International Orchestra of Campania conducted by Leonardo Quadrini .

The program, which is part of the city's "Affabulazione – Expressions of Polycentric Naples" project, will host audiences for nearly two months with events dedicated to 20th-century music. After the opening, Salvatore Misticone will perform with the Quintetto Internazionale della Campania on September 13th; Katia Ricciarelli will headline on September 20th, followed on September 27th by Sebastiano Somma and soprano Raffaella Ambrosino . The closing concert, on October 23rd, will be dedicated to Rossini, featuring the choir and orchestra of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella under the direction of Quadrini.
The festival isn't limited to concerts: workshops on Neapolitan song, opera singing, and music in the suburbs are also planned, confirming the festival's desire to bring widespread cultural activities to the neighborhoods.
